We provide financial support from 70+ foundations
FVO is a non-profit organisation that works with more than 70 foundations. Through FVO, these foundations can provide financial support to people who need it.
Our caseworkers review each application and assess which foundations may be able to help, based on their purpose and the applicant’s situation. This means that a single application to FVO could lead to support from several foundations.
We help you find the right support
When you apply for financial support from FVO, our caseworkers review your financial situation. You can also get advice and guidance about other types of support you may be entitled to.

Föreningen FVO was founded in 1889 to organise and distribute financial support as efficiently as possible, so that the money could help as many people in need as possible.

At our office
Seven people work at FVO’s office on Riddarholmen in Stockholm, handling applications, projects, strategy and communications. Much of their work involves receiving and reviewing applications and making sure that financial support from the foundations reaches people who need it.
The team is led by Executive Director Katarina Kristensson.
