Foundations we work with
FVO works with over 70 foundations that provide financial support to individuals.
One application – several opportunities for support
When you apply for support from FVO, you don’t need to find out which foundations you can apply to yourself. Our caseworkers review your application and identify which foundations may be able to help you, based on their purpose and your circumstances.
Each foundation has its own purpose, so details such as where you live, your family situation, age, occupation and education can affect which foundations may be able to support you. That’s why we need quite a lot of information when you apply.

What is a foundation?
A foundation is created when money is set aside for a specific purpose, such as helping people who need financial support. The money is managed by a board or an administrator and can only be used according to the foundation’s rules.
Many foundations were established over a hundred years ago. This means their purposes may sometimes be described in old-fashioned language. Their rules must still be followed, even though society has changed since they were established.
